Turn the owl’s wing to open the bank and access the coins. The mechanism gives this small wooden object a practical purpose as well as a place on a shelf.

The reclaimed oak gives a former school-library material a new use. Each piece has its own wood grain; see the Etsy listing for the item photographs and current options.

Optional name/date engraving is offered for an additional $10 through the Etsy listing. Check the listing photographs for placement.
