This is the substantial piece in the collection: a broad end-grain surface made from an urban-harvested pecan slab. The wood’s golden and dark brown figure is visible across the top.
Its size and 15.7 lb weight are worth considering when choosing a place for it. Recessed handholds underneath provide a place to grip when lifting.
The finish
Finished with 100% pure WoodRiver tung oil blended with Nature’s Orange food-grade D-limonene (orange oil). The finish is food-safe once fully cured. See the Etsy listing for care instructions and full surface details.
